Dr Atiyeh Vaezipour is a research fellow at Recover Injury Research Centre, at the University of Queensland, working on the design, development and evaluation of innovative technologies to improve the delivery of evidence-based health services. Atiyeh holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering from Iran, Master of Information Engineering & Management from Sweden, and a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety – Queensland (CARRS-Q), at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia. She is also a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia and the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

Atiyeh’s research involves a human-centered approach to design, development, and evaluation of technology interventions to improve public health in two main areas of (i) Rehabilitation, and (ii) Improving driving behavior to prevent traffic crashes.
